Who we are

Imperial Embroidery Palace (“we”, “us”) is an embroidery and printing shop at Shop A05, Premium Plaza, Akpabuyo Road, Kubwa, Abuja, Nigeria. This website is imperialembroidery.netlify.app. We are the data controller for the information described below.

What information we collect

Information you give us. When you contact us on WhatsApp, by phone, on Instagram, by email or through the message form on this site, we receive your name, phone number or account name, the messages you send, and any logo or artwork files. We also record order details such as items, sizes, colours, quantities and delivery location.

Information from your visit, only if you accept cookies. If you press Accept on our cookie strip, we load Google Tag Manager. Through it we may measure which pages are viewed, which buttons are clicked (for example the WhatsApp button), your device and browser type, your approximate location and the page you came from.

Message form. If you use the form on our site, the name, phone number, optional email and message you type are sent to Formspree, our form processor, and forwarded to us. The form works whether or not you accept cookies.

Embedded map. The home page and the thank-you page show our shop on a Google Map. When the map loads as you scroll down to it, Google receives your IP address and browser details and may set its own cookies. The map loads whether or not you accept cookies. If you would rather not load it, you can use the address and phone numbers shown on the page instead.

Hosting information. Our host, Netlify, processes technical data such as your IP address and the pages requested so the site can be delivered and kept secure.

How we use your information

To reply to you and prepare your sample, written quote and delivery date.
To make, deliver and invoice your order, and to keep it accurate for repeat batches.
To understand how the site is used and improve it, only if you accept cookies.
To keep records we are required to keep, and to protect the site and our business.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and similar technologies

The site works without any analytics tracking. We use the following:

Our legal basis

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 we rely on: your consent for analytics cookies; steps taken at your request before and during a contract, such as quotes and orders; our legitimate interests in running and securing the shop and website; and legal obligations such as tax and accounting records.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the shop, and only as needed:

WhatsApp (Meta) and Instagram, when you message us there.
Netlify, which hosts this website.
Formspree, which receives the details you type into our message form and passes them to us by email.
Google, for the embedded map on our site and, only if you accept cookies, for Tag Manager and analytics.
Delivery or courier partners, if you ask us to deliver your order.

Some of these providers process data outside Nigeria. We choose providers that apply recognised safeguards, and we share the minimum needed.

How long we keep it

We keep order details and logo files for as long as needed to complete your order and to repeat it accurately in future batches, and to meet record-keeping duties. You can ask us to delete your files and messages at any time. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of our analytics account.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

Tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy.
Correct information that is wrong or incomplete.
Delete your information, or restrict how we use it.
Stop using your information where you object to it.
Withdraw your consent for cookies at any time, without affecting what happened before.

Email imperialembroiderypalace.ltd@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not happy with our answer, you may complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).

Security

This site is served over HTTPS. We limit who can see your messages and files, and we keep devices and accounts used for the shop protected. No system is completely secure, so please do not send us card numbers or passwords in messages.

Children

This website is not aimed at children. School orders are placed by parents, staff or school representatives. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and we do not need a child’s name to make a badge.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Last updated 14 October 2026.
